Where Should You Place a Mouse Trap?
Placement decides everything, and it is where most people go wrong. Mice travel with one side of their body against a wall, so a trap in the middle of a floor will be walked past for weeks. Put traps flat against a skirting board with the trigger end facing the wall, and put them where you have actually seen droppings rather than where it is convenient. Behind the fridge, under the sink, along the back of a pantry, in the corner of a garage and against the wall in a roof space are the usual places. Space several a couple of metres apart along the same wall rather than clustering them - you are trying to intersect a route, not guard a spot.
What Is the Best Bait for a Mouse Trap?
