How Much Should You Inflate It?
Not fully. A cushion blown up hard has no give, pushes back against your feet and puts unnecessary stress on the seams. Inflate it until it holds its shape, then let a little air out so the top surface yields under your weight. Air pressure also changes with temperature and, on a flight, with cabin pressure - a footrest inflated firm on the ground will be firmer again at altitude, so under-inflate before you board rather than after.
