Description
This mini pie maker set presses, crimps and vents hand pies in one squeeze. Choose the Christmas set (mitten, snowflake and tree), the harvest set (apple, pumpkin and acorn), the classic set (round lattice, half-moon and rectangle lattice), or combine them for six or nine moulds.
Each mould is a hinged ABS plastic press. Lay pastry in the base, spoon in a sweet or savoury filling, cover with a second piece of pastry and close the mould to cut the shape, seal the edge and stamp the vent pattern in the top. It makes neat, even hand pies for Christmas tables, lunchboxes, parties and baking with kids, and works for pastry, pie dough and firm cookie dough.

How Do You Use a Hand Pie Mould?
Roll pastry to about 3 mm and cut two pieces slightly larger than the mould. Dust the mould lightly with flour, lay the first piece in the base and press it into the shape. Add one to two tablespoons of filling, leaving a clean edge. Lay the second piece on top, close the mould and press firmly, then open it and lift out the pie. Brush with egg and bake on a lined tray until golden.
Care
Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly before storing. Do not put the moulds in the dishwasher or oven, and keep them away from hot pans, as ABS plastic can soften with heat.
