Description
This advent calendar for 2026 is a building block Christmas countdown: 24 numbered surprise boxes that together build a Christmas tree with Santa's sleigh and reindeer on top, for $87.89. Inside are 833 ABS building pieces and instructions. Kids open one box a day from 1 December, add that day's build to the tree, and finish with a decorated tree, presents and a toy train at the base by Christmas Eve. Suitable for ages 6 and up.
Chocolate advent calendars are gone in a minute and forgotten by lunchtime. A building block advent calendar gives kids something to do every morning - a small build that takes ten or fifteen minutes - and the countdown leaves something behind: a finished Christmas tree that goes on the shelf as a decoration and comes out again next year. No sugar, no screens and no pile of small toys to tidy up.

-
Ends with a decoration - a finished Christmas tree to display on a shelf or desk.

No sugar - a treat-free alternative to a chocolate advent calendar.
-
833 pieces - enough to keep kids busy for the whole countdown.
-
Great for families - older kids build alone, younger ones build with a parent.
What Is a Building Block Advent Calendar?
It is an advent calendar where each of the 24 numbered boxes holds a small set of building pieces instead of a chocolate. Each day's pieces add another part to one model, so the countdown builds towards a finished centrepiece. In this one, the pieces build a Christmas tree with a star, ornaments, Santa's sleigh and reindeer on top, and presents and a toy train underneath.
What Age Is This Advent Calendar Suitable For?
It is made for ages 6 and up. Most 6 to 8 year olds can follow the daily instructions with a little help, and older kids and teens can do it on their own. Because the pieces are small, keep the open boxes away from toddlers and babies.
When Should You Start an Advent Calendar?
Advent calendars traditionally start on 1 December and finish on 24 December, with one door or box opened each day. Order early so it arrives in time - advent calendars are one of the first Christmas items to sell out each year. If your family starts on the first Sunday of Advent instead, simply open the boxes in order from that day.
Buyers are typically parents and grandparents looking for a non-chocolate advent calendar, families with kids who love building sets, and gift buyers who want a Christmas present that lasts the whole of December.
