Description
This bubble machine is a handheld unit with eight bubble holes that fires a continuous stream of bubbles at the press of a button, and doubles as a summer fan once the bubble head is removed, measuring 20 x 9 x 7cm and weighing 300g. It takes three AA batteries, which are not included.
A bubble wand produces about four bubbles and requires a child to blow correctly, which under-fives largely cannot. Eight holes running off a motor removes the skill from the activity entirely: press, and the air fills. That is the difference between a toy that entertains a three year old for two minutes and one that keeps a group of them running around a backyard for an hour. The fan mode is the part nobody expects and the reason it stays in the car through summer.

Why Eight Holes Changes the Game
-
No skill required - a three year old presses a button, which is the whole reason it works where a wand does not.
-
Eight streams at once - it fills a space rather than producing bubbles one at a time.
-
Doubles as a fan - take the bubble head off and it is a handheld fan, which earns it a place in the car all summer.
-
ABS body at 300g - light enough for a small child to hold and tough enough to survive being dropped.
-
Bubble plate included - you dip and go rather than needing a separate container.
Is Bubble Solution Included?
Yes, a bubble solution and a bubble plate come in the box. It will not last long at eight holes, so plan on topping up. You pour solution into the plate, dip the head, and press the switch.
How Do You Make Your Own Bubble Mix?
The supplier's recipe is two parts dishwashing detergent, six parts water and one to four parts glycerin. The glycerin is the part that matters: it holds water in the film and makes bubbles last noticeably longer before popping. Glycerin is sold at most pharmacies and supermarkets in the baking aisle. Mix it a few hours ahead if you can, because a rested mix performs better than a fresh one.
How Does the Fan Mode Work?
Remove the bubble head and the same motor and housing work as a handheld fan. It is a genuine second use rather than a marketing line, and it is why these get taken to the beach and to sport rather than only to parties.
Who Buys These
Parents of toddlers and preschoolers, where bubbles are the most reliable outdoor activity there is. People organising birthday parties, fetes and school holiday programs. Grandparents keeping something in the cupboard for visits. It also sells for wedding send-offs and photo shoots, where a continuous bubble stream does what confetti used to and leaves nothing to clean up.

Product photography is indicative and batteries are not included. Colours may vary slightly between screens and the item in hand, and hand measured dimensions carry a small tolerance. Adult supervision required: bubble solution is not for drinking, keep it away from eyes, and bubbles make floors slippery. Keep batteries away from children and seek immediate medical attention if a battery is swallowed.
