These Solar Lights are our longest set - 500 multicoloured LEDs over 52 metres for $37.99. They also run longer than the rest of the range: 8 to 10 hours a night on a full charge rather than 6 to 8, with two modes, flash and steady on.
Fifty-two metres is display territory rather than decoration. It is the set you buy when the whole front of the house is going up, or when a single very large tree is the centrepiece, and the longer runtime means it is still lit when guests leave rather than having gone dark at ten.

What Can You Cover With 52 Metres?
A typical single-storey house frontage including the eaveline and a couple of windows, with length to spare. A mature tree wrapped trunk and lower branches. A full backyard perimeter fence. Or a long driveway edge. Wrapping consumes length far faster than running in a line, so if a big tree is the target, expect this set to be mostly used up by it - which is generally the intent.
Why Does This Set Run Longer Than the Others?
It carries a larger battery in the panel housing to drive 500 LEDs, and that extra capacity translates into 8 to 10 hours rather than 6 to 8. Worth knowing: runtime is quoted from a full charge in good conditions. In midwinter, or after several overcast days, this set will fall short of 8 hours just as the smaller ones fall short of 6. The advantage over the shorter sets holds, but the absolute number moves with the season.
How Do You Stop the Panel Being Shaded?
Watch where the shadow line actually falls across a whole day, not just when you install it. A spot that is sunny at 10am can be shaded by a fence or eave by 2pm, and that is when the strongest charging light is available. Face the panel north, tilt it rather than laying it flat, and keep it clear of overhanging branches. Because the panel is on a lead, you can stake it in the open and run the lights into a shaded pergola - use that, because most people never do.
