Is 800 LEDs Too Many for a House Front?
For a single window, yes - use the 300. For a house frontage, a double garage, a large tree or a marquee, 800 is about right, and people more often underestimate than overestimate. The mistake to avoid is stretching one set across a span it cannot cover: a thin, sparse curtain looks worse than a dense one over half the area. If in doubt, cover a smaller area properly.
Can You Run Two Curtains From One Powerpoint?
Electrically, easily - each set draws only 8.4W, so a dozen sets would still be a trivial load for one outlet. The practical limits are the number of sockets on your extension board and the lead lengths, since these sets are not designed to daisy-chain end to end. Use an outdoor-rated extension board, keep every connection off the ground and under cover, and run the whole lot from an RCD-protected outlet.
Does Multicolour Look Cheap Indoors?
It can, and it is worth being honest about it. Multicolour works outdoors at distance, on a tree, or anywhere the display is meant to read as festive. Indoors, at close range, against a white wall, the colour mix can look busy - and for weddings, dinners and photo backdrops most people prefer warm white. If the set is going inside a room rather than on a house, the 300 LED warm white is usually the better choice. If it is going on the front of the house, multicolour wins.
