Description
These LED Strip Connector Cables are a 10 pack of 4 pin leads priced at $12.99, each 10cm long, for 10mm 3528 and 5050 RGB strip. Choose male or female to match what your setup needs.
The job these do that a rigid clip cannot is turning a corner. Strip lighting looks its best running around the inside of a cabinet, up and over a doorway or along a stepped cornice, and none of those are straight lines. A short flexible lead lets the run change direction cleanly instead of bending the strip itself - which damages the PCB and eventually kills that section.

Why a Flexible Lead Beats Bending the Strip
-
Turns corners properly - no sharp bend to crack the flexible PCB
-
Crosses gaps - jump a hinge, a shelf divider or a cabinet frame
-
10 per pack - enough for a full cabinet run with spares
-
No soldering - plug in and go
-
Choose your gender - male or female to suit the parts you already have
Male or Female - Which Do You Need?
Look at the end you are plugging into and order the opposite. If your strip pigtail or controller ends in a female socket, you need male. If it ends in a male plug, you need female. There is no universal standard between brands, so the only reliable method is to look at the actual parts in front of you rather than assume. If you are ordering blind for a future project, a mix of both plus a few male-to-male adapters covers every combination.
How Do You Turn a Corner With Strip Lighting?
Cut the strip on its marked cut line at the corner, then join the two lengths with one of these leads, tucking the 10cm of slack behind the corner where it is not seen. That gives a clean right angle with no stress on the strip. The alternative approaches - bending the strip around, or cutting and soldering wire across - either damage the PCB or take far longer. For a rectangular cabinet you will use three or four of these, which is why the pack is ten.
Is 10cm Long Enough?
For corners, gaps between cabinet sections and jumping a hinge, comfortably yes - 10cm is the length that gives you slack to tuck away without leaving a loop of wire on show. What 10cm will not do is bridge a long run between two distant sections, or reach from a controller mounted in a cupboard to a strip on the far wall. For those distances you need a longer extension cable, not this.
Buyers are running strip lighting around cabinets and shelving, building TV and monitor backlighting, and doing caravan and vehicle interiors.
