Colours are sent at random - we do not offer a colour choice, and it is better to say so up front than have you order expecting all blue. For a party that is usually the point anyway; the mix is what makes a dance floor look right.

How Long Do Glow Sticks Actually Glow?
Bright for three to five hours from the moment you snap them, then a slow fade that can leave a faint light for up to twelve. Temperature changes this noticeably: warmth speeds the reaction so they burn brighter and die sooner, cold slows it so they last longer but glow dimmer. Storing them somewhere cool before an event is worth doing. If you want to pause one part way through a night, a freezer slows the reaction right down, though it will never fully stop it.
What Is Inside a Glow Stick?
Two chemicals kept apart. The outer plastic tube holds one, and a thin glass ampoule inside holds the other. When you bend the stick the first time, that glass tube breaks and the two mix, which starts the reaction that gives off light. It is not radioactive, not flammable and does not need power. If a stick does split, the liquid washes off skin and clothing with ordinary soap or detergent - but avoid getting it in eyes or mouth, and rinse with clean water if you do.

No. The reaction is one way. Once mixed, it runs until the chemicals are spent, and no amount of shaking, heating or putting it in the sun brings it back.
