How Do You Inflate Foil Christmas Balloons?
Find the valve tab at the bottom of the balloon, slide a straw or pump nozzle into it and fill slowly until the balloon is firm but not stretched. The valve seals itself when you pull the nozzle out. Helium makes the balloon float for a day or two; air-filled balloons can be taped to a wall and last for weeks. Do not over-inflate, as foil seams can split.
Safety
Children under 8 years can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons, so adult supervision is required. Keep balloons away from eyes, heat and sharp objects, and discard broken balloons straight away. Latex balloons may cause an allergic reaction in people with a latex allergy.
