Important Usage Tips
For best results, stay relaxed before measuring your blood pressure. Blood pressure can be affected by stress, exercise, food, caffeine, and other daily factors.
Before taking a reading:
Rest for at least 30 minutes after strenuous activity. Sit with your back straight and feet flat on the floor. Place your arm on a table so the cuff is level with your heart. Fit the cuff snugly on your upper arm according to the instruction manual. Take 2–3 readings a few minutes apart and record the results.
Regular monitoring can help you track changes in your blood pressure over time. Consult your doctor if you notice consistent high or unusual readings.
