Will It Stick to My Fridge?

Check before you order, because this catches people out. A magnet needs ferrous metal. Most white and coloured fridges are steel and work fine. Many modern stainless steel fridges do not - a lot of stainless door skins are a non-magnetic grade, and some fridges have plastic or glass fronts entirely. The two-second test is to take any fridge magnet you already own and see whether it holds on the door. If it does, this will. If it does not, the planner will not stick either, and you would need a magnetic whiteboard or an adhesive version instead. The supplier makes the same point and it deserves to be at the top rather than in a note at the bottom.

What Is the Difference Between the Monthly and Weekly Sheets?

The set is described as covering both a monthly schedule and a calendar planner layout, both in A3. In practice a monthly grid gives you all 31 days at a glance, which suits appointments, bin nights, birthdays and anything you plan weeks ahead. A weekly layout gives you far more writing room per day, which suits meal plans, after-school activities and shift rosters where each day needs several lines. Most households end up using one for the family diary and the other for meals. The supplier's specification lists both layouts as A3 but does not describe the grid detail of each, so if the exact layout matters to you, message us and we will send photographs before you order.

Which Markers Work on a Rewritable Fridge Planner?

Dry-erase whiteboard markers - the standard bullet or chisel tip kind. They wipe off the PET film with a dry cloth or a whiteboard eraser. Two things to avoid. Permanent markers will not come off; if one is used by mistake, going over the mark with a dry-erase marker and wiping immediately will often lift it, but do not count on it. And very fine liquid-chalk or paint markers can stain film surfaces. Also worth knowing: writing left on any rewritable film for months can ghost slightly, so wipe the previous month rather than leaving it up all year.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it come with markers and an eraser?
We cannot confirm it, and we would rather say so than repeat a claim we cannot stand behind. The previous title promised three markers and an eraser, but the supplier's own package list says only "1 Set of Fridge sticker message board" and does not mention them. We have asked for a definitive answer. Assume you may need your own dry-erase markers, and message us before ordering if that matters.

How big is A3 exactly?
A3 is 29.7 x 42cm. The supplier states A3 and gives no measurement in centimetres, so that is the standard size we are working from.

Do I need to remove anything before use?
Yes. There is a thin protective film over the writing surface that must be peeled off first - if writing beads up and will not wipe cleanly, that film is still on.

Can I cut it to fit a smaller space?
Rubber magnet sheet does cut with scissors, but you will cut through the printed grid, so measure your space before ordering rather than trimming afterwards.

Will it damage the fridge?
No. It is held magnetically with no adhesive. Wipe underneath it occasionally as you would any magnet.

Can I stick it on a wall?
Only if the wall is steel. On plaster or brick it needs a magnetic backing board.

Is it reusable year after year?
Yes - the grid is undated, so it does not expire at the end of a calendar year.
