How Long Does One Charge Last?
It depends entirely on what you are running. On the low 30 lumen setting the light lasts up to 20 hours, medium up to 8, and the full 180 lumens up to 4. The UV zapper on its own runs up to 30 hours. A full charge takes 3 to 4 hours from a 5V 1A USB source, so it tops up from a power bank or a car USB port.
Can You Use the Light Without the Zapper?
Yes, and the other way round. The soft white light operates independently of the zapper, so you can have light with no grid, grid with no light, or both together. That independence is what lets you leave it working through the night without a lamp shining in the tent.
Is It Safe to Touch the Grid?
The high voltage grid sits behind a finger guard, which is there specifically so it cannot be touched in normal use. Insects pass through the guard, fingers do not. As with any electrical device it should be kept away from small children, not immersed in water, and switched off before cleaning.
