Description

These Latex Balloons are a 20 pack of 30cm gold chrome metallic balloons for $12.99. The latex is thick and pearlised, which is what gives the mirror-like chrome finish rather than a flat printed gold.

Twenty balloons at 30cm is the quantity-and-size combination that actually builds something. A 5 pack decorates a table; 20 makes a cluster, an arch section or the bulk of a garland. And 30cm is the standard party balloon size, so these mix naturally with almost anything else you already have.

Why 20 at 30cm Is the Practical Pack

  • Enough to build with - 20 balloons is a garland section or a full ceiling cluster
  • 30cm is the standard size - mixes with almost every other balloon you own
  • Thick latex - fewer pops while you are inflating and taping a garland
  • Gold suits nearly every palette - white, black, blush, navy, greenery
  • Cheaper per balloon - the 20 pack works out well below buying small packs

Is 30cm or 40cm the Right Balloon Size?

30cm is the everyday size - it is what most party balloons are, and what a garland is mostly made of. 40cm balloons are the statement pieces you scatter through a garland to break up the scale, or float singly. A well-built garland uses both: mostly 30cm with a handful of 40cm and some smaller 12cm to fill gaps. If you are buying one pack to do a whole job, buy the 30cm; our 40cm chrome 5 pack is the accent to add on top.

How Far Does a 20 Pack Actually Go?

A one metre balloon garland takes roughly 25 to 30 balloons across mixed sizes, so one pack of 20 gets you most of a metre and needs a few smaller balloons to fill. A ceiling cluster or a floor stack uses 15 to 20. Table bouquets of three take about six tables' worth. For a two metre arch, plan on two to three packs plus fillers.

Why Do Chrome Balloons Need More Care When Inflating?

The chrome finish is a surface effect on thicker latex, and it shows handling in a way matte balloons do not. Fingerprints, dust and oils mark it visibly, so handle them by the neck. Over-inflating also stretches the pearlised layer thin and dulls the mirror effect, so inflate to a round shape rather than pushing for maximum size - a slightly under-filled chrome balloon looks better than a taut one. And keep them out of direct sun, which both dulls the finish and expands the air inside.

Buyers are building balloon garlands and arches, styling weddings, engagements and hens parties, and decorating milestone birthdays.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many balloons do I get?
Twenty.

What colour are they?
Gold.

How is this different from the 40cm chrome pack?
That one is 5 balloons at 40cm in a choice of eight colours. This is 20 balloons at 30cm in gold.

Will they float with helium?
Yes, though latex is porous so expect 8-12 hours. Air fill lasts for days and is better for garlands.

Is ribbon included?
No.

Why do mine look dull?
Chrome depends on light, and over-inflating thins the finish. Inflate to a round shape and use bright lighting.

Are they safe around children?
Latex balloons are a choking and suffocation hazard for children under 8. Supervise and discard broken balloons at once.

Measurements are approximate. Screen colours vary between devices, and a chrome finish photographs differently under different light. WARNING: children under 8 years can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision required. Discard broken balloons at once. Contains natural rubber latex. Never release balloons outdoors.
