Description

This word game for kids and family is a fast tabletop spelling game. Press the centre button, the letter rings spin, and everyone races to say a word that starts with the first letter and ends with the final letter shown. The first correct answer wins a token. It comes with the letter wheel, 20 tokens and printed instructions, and the box is marked for ages 8 and up.

It works as a party game, a classroom spelling activity or a quick family game after dinner. Each round takes seconds and the rules fit in one sentence, so new players pick it up straight away. There are two colourways: the Red Set has a red, white and blue wheel, and the Blue Set has a black, white and blue wheel. The photos show the Red Set in Spanish-language packaging ("Primera Letra, Última Letra"), so its printed instructions may also be in Spanish. The wheel uses ordinary alphabet letters and plays the same in English, and the how-to-play steps are below.

  1. Press the centre button to spin the letter rings.
  2. Look at the two highlighted letters: the first letter and the final letter.

Why Families Like This Spelling Game

  • Quick rounds - each spin takes seconds, so nobody waits long for a turn.
  • Builds spelling and vocabulary - kids practise finding words from their first and last letters.
  • Simple rules - easy to explain to visitors, grandparents and younger players.
  • No screens - a hands-on game for family nights, classrooms and school holidays.
  • Compact - the wheel is 24 cm wide and packs back into its box.

Is It a Good Spelling Game for the Classroom?

Yes. Teachers and tutors can use it at a literacy station or as a five-minute warm-up. Playing in pairs or small teams gives stronger and newer spellers an equal chance. To make it harder for older players, only accept words of five letters or more, or ban plurals.

Care and Safety

Wipe the wheel with a damp cloth and let it dry. Do not submerge it in water. Keep the tokens in the box between games, as they are small parts and should be kept away from children under 3.

Buyers are typically parents looking for a screen-free family game, teachers stocking a literacy corner, and aunts, uncles and grandparents shopping for a Christmas or birthday gift.

How many people can play?
It is a group game. The photos show up to four players, and anyone around the table can call out answers.

The colour of the wheel and the packaging. The photos show the Red Set in a Spanish-language box and the Blue Set in an English box.
